Common surface treatment methods for stamping parts

Stamping surface treatment refers to the process of forming a coating on a surface of a workpiece by some method. The main purpose is to make the surface of the workpiece beautiful, anti-corrosion effect, etc. The surface treatment methods are as follows.
Oxidation treatment: can be divided into chemical oxidation and anodization.
Electroplating: The electroplated component is immersed in an aqueous solution containing the deposited metal compound, and an electric current is passed through the plating solution to deposit and deposit the electroplated metal on the component. Generally, electroplating includes galvanizing, copper, nickel, chromium, copper-nickel alloy, and the like.
Passivation treatment: pure iron, pure aluminum is reacted in concentrated sulfuric acid or concentrated nitric acid, and the atoms on the surface react with the acid to form a dense oxide film, which prevents the internal substance and the concentrated acid from continuing to react to achieve the protection.
Mechanical Plating: The surface of the product is impacted by the particles of the coated metal and the coating is cold welded to the surface of the precision stamped part.

Electrophoresis: It is coated with paint on the surface of the material under the action of external current. It is characterized by rich color, but poor adhesion, and the color is difficult to control.
