Quality qualified forgings must also meet the following requirements: Forgings forged according to the forging procedure, all dimensions shall conform to the dimensions of the die forging drawings, and must meet the technical requirements specified in the die forging drawings, such as heat treatment. Hardness, amount of misalignment, size of burrs, curvature, wall thickness difference, surface defects, descaling and mechanical properties.
Three special considerations for die forgings
(1) Forgings forging on the forging press, the average size of the remaining amount is 30-50% smaller than that of the hammer, and the specific figures can be determined by the relevant manual;
(2) The forging press has a ejector device, which can forge a forging with a long rod (ie, the axis of the rod coincides with the direction of movement of the slider) to reduce the perimeter of the forging on the parting surface and reduce the consumption of raw metal .
(3) If the forging is taken out from the cavity by the pliers, the forging inclination is determined as the forging on the hammer. When the forging is pushed out by the ejector, the forging inclination can be significantly reduced, but not completely. No, otherwise the ejector pin is overloaded.

The mold used for die forgings is called a forging die. From the beginning of the deformation of the metal to the final forming, it is carried out by using the corresponding die of the forging die. The forging die is divided into upper and lower forging dies, which are respectively mounted on the hammer head and the anvil.
